The shop
P&M Carpets sits at 212-216 Picton Road, in the middle of Wavertree's shopping spine. We carry hundreds of carpet, laminate, vinyl, LVT and rug samples — every budget from durable everyday options to the heavier wool blends that last decades.
Most of the homes we fit are within a 15-minute walk of the shop. Some are a 30-minute drive. Either way, the same team measures and fits, and the same shop is here on Monday morning if anything needs putting right.
How we work
Our process is deliberately uncomplicated: come into the shop, or book a free home measure, and we'll come to you with samples and exact measurements. You get a written quote that includes everything — underlay, fitting, moving furniture, taking up the old flooring, taking the waste away. No surprises on the day.
We don't subcontract our fitting. The team you meet at the measure is the team that does the job, and they care about the work because their name is on it. If a board pops or a seam shifts six months later, it's the same number to call.

We can't always be the cheapest quote — chains buying by the container can undercut us on price. What we can do is fit it properly, stand by it afterwards, and treat your home the way we'd treat ours.
